Beautiful Fall Senior Session

What a beautiful day for a fall senior session.  I met Margo and her mom this month to celebrate her senior year at Providence High School.

It was a beautiful crisp afternoon, perfect sweater weather and boots kind of day.  We were able to capture the golden yellow leaves with some touches of orange in her beautiful photographs.  The Fall is a wonderful time to take senior portraits.  Just one of many reasons is, if you enjoy the many colors the Fall leaves have to offer and a second reason is if you love Fall clothing.  Those two definitely compliment each other very well which brings out the best in you.

One of my favorite things when photographing a senior girl is when there is a little bit of a breeze.  I love the way the breeze blows Margoโ€™s hair in these photographs.  It frames her face nicely and showcases her natural beauty as well as those cute dimples she has.

We photographed Margoโ€™s session at Cullman Parkin the Ballantyne area of Charlotte.  The park has a nice bridge and is a wonderful spot to take lots of unique photographs on.  We got some nice pictures that had a lot of nice depth in them.  In some of the photographs you can see the pretty waterfall in the background.

Near the bridge are some pretty natural grasses and trees along the edge of the lake that make for fun scenery.  I asked Margo if sheโ€™d be willing to step into the grasses to add some variety in her senior portraits.  The grasses offer a softness on the ends of their stalks and frames Margo nicely standing amongst them.

I wish Margo the best in her senior year at Providence High School and on her next chapter in life.  I look forward to staying in touch with her and seeing all your successes!
